Tobrex Ointment contains Tobramycin, which belongs to a class of drugs called aminoglycoside antibiotics. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria. This medication treats only bacterial eye infections such as conjunctivitis and ear canal infections. They should be used with caution in patients who have ever had neuromuscular disorders, such as myasthenia gravis or Parkinson’s disease and in pregnant women.
