Dicetel (pinaverium bromide) treats and relieves the symptoms associated with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) such as abdominal pain, bowel disturbances (constipation and/or diarrhea) and intestinal discomfort (bloating). It is typically used for problems involving the bile ducts and gallbladder or for the treatment of irritable bowel syndrome. Dicetel is indicated in; Symptomatic treatment of pain, transit disorders and intestinal discomfort related to functional intestinal disturbances [irritable bowel syndrome (IBS),symptomatic treatment of pain related to functional disturbances of the biliary tract and preparation for a barium enema.
